It is always a convenient pleasure to open up your linen closet and see neat, orderly, and well-organized stacks of towel, bed linens, and tablecloths. Organizing your linen closet is really simple, if you don't have too many sets of everything, and you keep items that are used at the same time together.
If you have more than three sets of bed linens for each bedroom in the house, you have too many. Technically, you really need only two; one for the bed and one in the dirty clothes waiting to be washed. But you never know when the kids go to vomit or your hubby will choose to eat a snack in the messy bed ... and misses her mouth, so fine are three sets.
I use blankets on all my quilts, because I hate to wash for bulky stuff. It is easy to take off the lid and wash them! When I fold my laundry, I put my top sheet, pre-folded until it is long, but only 18 "wide, then put the folded pillow, bed sheet and quilt> Cover on top. Then I fold the top sheet over the whole matter it considers as a unit, which remains clean and easy to access when changing bed time.
In addition to the stack, a complete set of towels for the bathroom is used by this room. No wild search for the right bedding is required if you are in this way. Tablecloths can be done in the same way, save the bed linen, with napkins folded into the right tablecloth.
